Protein, fiber and water, tracked by voice

Just say what you ate.

EAT.FM is the easiest way to see if you’re getting enough protein, fiber and water. Tap one big button, talk like you would to a friend, and you’re done. No typing. No searching. No counting. Easy at any age.

How it works

  1. Tap the big button

It’s the first thing you see. Or type, if you’d rather.

  2. Say what you ate

“A cup of Greek yogurt with blueberries.” Amounts help, but you don’t have to be exact.

  3. Check it and save

See the protein, fiber and calories. Change an amount with + and −, then tap Save.

Why protein and fiber?

Protein helps keep your muscles strong at any age. Fiber helps digestion and keeps you full, and most people fall short on it.

So EAT.FM puts protein, fiber and water front and center. Calories are there too, but they’re not the point.

  • Protein, fiber and water goals you can see at a glance.
  • One-tap favorites for the breakfast or shake you have every day.
  • “How do you feel?” Note how you feel each day to spot patterns over time.
  • Weight graph and a report for your doctor or dietitian, to print or save as a PDF.
  • Brand-name and restaurant foods understood, from a protein shake to a burrito bowl.

On Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound or Mounjaro?

EAT.FM helps you keep up protein and fiber while you eat less, and keeps track of your shots, too. Say “took my 5 mg Zepbound in my left thigh”, and it suggests where to inject next time.

Say the part a photo can’t see

A photo can’t tell that your eggs were cooked in butter or that your shake has a scoop of protein powder. You can just say it, and EAT.FM counts it.

“Grilled chicken salad with a little ranch, and a glass of milk.”

Easy for everyone

  • Big, clear text

Choose standard, large or extra-large text. Works with your phone’s zoom and screen reader.

  • Talk or type

Use your voice, or type it out. Both work the same.

  • No account

Nothing to sign up for or remember. Just open it and start.

  • Your data stays yours

What you log is saved on your phone, not on our servers.

Real numbers, not guesses

Nutrition numbers come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s food database (USDA FoodData Central). When EAT.FM isn’t sure about a food, it asks you instead of making a number up.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The web app is free to use while we’re in preview.

Do I need to make an account?

No. Open the app and start. Everything is saved on your phone. You can download or erase it any time in Settings.

Does it work on my phone?

It works in the web browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers. Voice works in Safari, Chrome and Edge. In other browsers you can type.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the USDA’s food database. When you say an amount like “a cup” or “two slices”, EAT.FM turns it into grams and works out the nutrition. For packaged foods like protein shakes, you can add the numbers from the label once and just say its name after that.

Is this medical advice?

No. EAT.FM helps you keep track. It doesn’t tell you how to take your medicine. Your doctor or dietitian can tell you what goals are right for you.

Do I have to be on a GLP-1 to use it?

Not at all. Anyone who wants an easy way to get enough protein and fiber can use it.
